First of all, I would like to thank everyone who is involved in the activities of the Saitama University Men's Cross Club.

Now that the new member welcome period has ended for this year, a total of 11 people have joined the club, including 8 players and 3 managers!

With this, the number of members is now 41, and it is said to be one of the largest clubs at Saitama University.

I believe that this is not only the achievement of the current members, but also the result of the efforts of the past alumni.

This year marks the second year for the second club, and we hope to work even harder.

To the first-year students

First of all, congratulations on your admission!

And thank you for joining the club!

I'm very happy that so many first-year students are in our generation.

I have a few things I want to tell the first-year students.

They say that the purpose of university club activities is self-actualization.

It's about whether you can become the person you want to be when you finish club activities.

But in university life, when you think about what you want to be and what you want to do, you will definitely have to make a choice.

At that time, first of all, think about how you can choose both, not which one to choose.

Make the most of your moratorium period, and I hope you win everything you want.

Secondly,

I want you to be proud of playing lacrosse and being a member of GA.

Lacrosse is something only the chosen few play (to put it nicely, the small number of players).

You should be proud that you play such a sport, and that you are one of the chosen 40 out of the thousands of students at Saitama University.

To be honest, it's hard to get up in the morning, and it's great that you come, but it's only natural to come.

I'm not good at weight training, but it's hard, but it's only natural to do it.

I envy those who don't participate in club activities because they have freedom (I think you have freedom even if you do!), but I'm going to participate in club activities.

Because I'm proud to be a member of the lacrosse club and GA.

I want you to always keep this in mind.

It might be hard to do it all at once, though.

Lastly! This is the most important thing.

Get your seniors to treat you a lot.

There are seniors who only treat you during your first year.

Make more friends with lacrosse players outside of GA.

One of the characteristics of the lacrosse community is the wide range of horizontal connections.

I think we will also have more exchanges with other universities.

In a way, friends who are only connected through lacrosse are extremely important in raising motivation for lacrosse.

I may not have been able to work hard last year without them.

Lacrosse makes friends.

This is a phrase you hear a lot when you are involved in the association. I don't think that being a lacrosseer is just about playing lacrosse.

I want the first-year students to experience lacrosse to the core.

There may be hard times and things that don't go well during these four years, but I want them to have more fun, fulfilling experiences, and successful experiences.
