If you're on a budget and don't want a stroller that can double as car seat carriers The Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland pathways. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is light, ideal for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. 2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents looking for a versatile stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller to wagon by simply turning the handle, meaning parents can choose the option they want to use on their journey. The wagon can be used by two or more children from 6 months up to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket for everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that is not as deep or large as other wagons, so it may not be suitable for long excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy, although it does not have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it isn't able to lock securely once folded. It is easy to move however, and fits through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored highly in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store in a trunk for your car. It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and a parent cup holder. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested, but was still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopy sizes.

It took us just under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. However, it is missing some critical features that we think you should not compromise on for a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

It's a breeze to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. This narrow pushchair handled all day bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or allow them to rotate which helps when covering rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we allowed them to swivel and it did this quite well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most famous for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, jogging strollers. However, they also produce a wide selection of pushchairs with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It folds easily and can fit in the trunk of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers that we tried, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be lowered to reveal a UV50and sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's large enough to fit an infant's changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller with you on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's an aluminum-framed stroller that can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It is a standout model with many unique features, such as the capacity of the seat to be flipped between parent and world facing as well as a large UPF50+ canopy, an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The seat can be reclined in various positions. It also comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that is suitable for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best lightweight single stroller as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be placed so that they face each one. They can also be set to face the parents. This should lessen sibling fights about who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a massive bottle holder, a gear tray snack tray, and an adjustable mat. It also has an automatic frame lock and a superior compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who like to stay active. It's one of the lightest running strollers you can get for your child and offers excellent safety features such as a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It also comes with a twist hand brake which is different than the lever type that is found on other models.

The seat is very comfortable and provides a wide area to sit. However the seat's depth is smaller than that of other runners (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin is covered with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds, which is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats as of yet, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for most seats by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and put together in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The manual is simple to understand and includes multiple languages.
