If you're looking to save money and don't need a stroller that doubles as car seat carriers, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland pathways. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the most lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its super nimble manoeuvrability and foldable design that can be tucked away in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made of Hytrel elastomer that allows it to perfectly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a 6+ month colour pack come together to create a stylish pushchair that's easy to look at and has a subtle but elegant aesthetic and tasteful branding. The base frame alone weighs just over a kilogram and is so light that you can easily lift it from the box (and do it with one hand).

The hood, as an example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 in a reassuring manner. It is machine washable at 30 degrees which helps avoid stains caused by smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It could also be converted to a stroller by 6 months by using the YOYO connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller wagon. The Evenflo Pivot can be transformed from a stroller to the wagon by turning the handle. The wagon can hold one or two kids from 6 months to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket to accommodate everything you require on the go.

The Xplore also has two canopies that turn from the front to the back, offering ample sun coverage for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as large or deep as other wagons, so it may not be suitable for longer excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy, although it does not have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly after folding. It is easy to maneuver however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store in a trunk for your car. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and an adult cup holder. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top of the stroller and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopies.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. It is missing some features that we consider essential for a double stroller. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it simple for parents to help their child in and out. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps well and slid through doors without a hitch.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward-facing position, or they can swivel. This is useful in rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel during our walk on an uneven path. It handled this reasonably well, even though it felt a little bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also have a wide assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It folds easily and fits into the car's boot even with a carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers we tried, but the wheels are a rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and durable. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's easy to move, even when loaded with two kids and shopping bags.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are waterproof and strong unlike other pram hoods that are whipped back into toddlers faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it comes with an ample basket that is deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of groceries. You can also pair it with a Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was an infant stroller that captivated the hearts of a large number of parents when it first appeared. It is an aluminium-framed stroller which can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It has a number of notable features, including the possibility of flipping the seat between parent and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy with a flip out eyeshade as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with a suspension system built-in that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to maneuver it through tight streets with ease.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It is also able to stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system comes included with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are easy to use with single fold pushchair action, colour coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and features great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also super lightweight and robust. The seat is reclined in various positions. It also is equipped with a double breathable mattress that is suitable for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best single stroller because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and can be used with carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be set so that they face each other. They can also be positioned to face the parents. This can help to reduce sibling arguments about who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a massive bottle holder, a gear tray, snack trays and an adjustable mat. It also has an automatic frame lock and a superior compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect stroller for parents who like to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with amazing safety features, including five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It comes with a different kind of hand brake than other models that are a twist.

The seat is well-padded and has plenty of room to sit in, but the depth of the seat is lower than other joggers we've tried (it's about 10"). The storage bin is encased with a zipper that keeps things secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs. This is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most bassinets and car seats for infants however, you can use them starting from the first day using adapters that work with brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is easy to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
